Suomenlinna- Fortress of Finland
The guided walking tour takes you around the fortress islands and lively through the centuries, presenting the main sights and the key events in the history of the fortress, offering interesting perspectives on the Finnish history and history of Northern Europe. Suomenlinna is one of Finland’s most popular sights. Every year it attracts more than 700,000 visitors. In 1991, Suomenlinna was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering an area of 210 ha and consisting of 6 islands and 200 buildings, Suomenlinna has amazing nature and viewpoints like tunnels and submarine. You can also visit museums, cafés & restaurants upon request. The tour starts from the Suomenlinna Museum (close to the pier).
