By car, we will go to a location far away from city lights, with a magnificent view of the starry sky. After a short walk, we will go to the grill and eat Lappish sausages, cooked on the open fire. Tea and coffee will also be available. Sitting by the fire, the guide will tell us about the facts, myths, and beliefs associated with the northern lights. And, if we are lucky, we will see the northern lights, shimmering in the dark blue sky.

10:00-13:00 Adrenalin safari for adults (included in the package rate)
Looking for a proper, sporty snowmobiling experience? Then look no further, this is the one! Around Rovaniemi there are 1100 kilometres of tracks to choose from, among these are trails suitable for everyone. Your guide chooses the trails for today’s adventure and takes you off the beaten track to the woods of Arctic Circle. Regardless of if you are a beginner with snowmobiling or already have some experience, after this safari, you will feel you learned more and hopefully even got more appetite for snowmobiling! This tour is for adults only. Your guide will bring some hot beverages.
INCLUDES: return transfers from Rovaniemi city center or Santa Claus Village, all described activities, services and equipment, guidance is in English, use of thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woolen socks, a scarf and helmets), unforgettable selfies
SPECIAL TERMS: Two 2 persons share 1 snowmobile. Single driving for the extra cost. Safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles. The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver license – A1, T, A or B category.

09:30 – 14:30 Korouoma National Park & Frozen Waterfalls (included in the package rate)
Korouoma is a 30-kilometre long geological fracture valley in Posio. It is a part of a fracture zone in the bedrock, which is hundreds of millions of years old. At the center of Korouoma, the fracture valley forms a gorge with high cliff faces. Small streams which cascade down the cliff faces in the summer, freeze into beautiful frozen waterfalls during winter, making Korouoma the number one ice climbing destination in Finland. Upon arrival, Your guide will lead the way! This 1,5 km hike is geared towards the active traveler and contains moderate elevation gain (220m). This portion of the trip takes about 40 minutes walk.

SPECIAL TERMS: The tour is not recommended for young (< 4y.o.) children. The route is relatively easy but requires basic physical fitness.

09:00 – 16:00 Wilderness husky tour, husky safari 30 – 40 km with campfire lunch (optional activity)
The perfect way to experience the magnificent taiga forests of Lapland. Start your tour with a pickup from Rovaniemi. Hop aboard your car, minivan or bus with your guide and admire the snow-blanketed countryside as you head for a local husky farm. Enjoy the sound of silence as you mush your own dog-team through the remote trails just north of Rovaniemi and the Arctic Circle. We travel 30 – 40 km during this tour. After or during the tour (weather dependent), we enjoy a campfire lunch. You can choose to drive your sled alone, or share the experience with a partner.
INCLUDED: Transfers from/to Rovaniemi, safety- and driving instructions, tour with a husky sled (2 adults per sled), hot juice, cookies, campfire lunch, arctic outer clothing and informative talk about huskies.
14:00-17:00 Reindeer farm visit and self safari (optional activity)
This safari will guide you through the snowy forest with one of the oldest way of travelling here in Lapland. Reindeer sleds in caravans were traditionally used to move the Sámi camps from one place to another, but it sure is a nice way to see nature and get a feel for the olden times. And who knows, maybe you see some other arctic animals too. When you come back to the farm, a warm cup of coffee or tea and a traditional snack is waiting for you.

16:30-23:30 Snow Sauna experience with outdoor jacuzzi and dinner (optional activity)
Arctic SnowHotel is a venue that offers once in a lifetime experience and the opportunity to explore snow and ice structures, spectacular ice sculptures, beautiful rooms of the hotel and arctic specialties, such as the Snow Sauna.
After the tour, it is time to get ready for your sauna experience and the guide will tell you all about the traditional Finnish sauna and gives you also a short time to try our unique Snow Sauna and see how you can get the best steam. Together with traditional Finnish sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, this is an extreme experience beyond compare! Price includes also towels and slippers. Notice that each sauna will be booked for private use for each family. The dinner of the evening is served in a magical atmosphere by an open fire at Lappish Kota restaurant.
